Basic requirements in the area of energy supply
The choice of coupling depends on the desired area of application for the coupling. Be it for tool optimization in the cooling circuits, where treated water or heat transfer oils are used, or for the safe supply of process air or various gases. Drip-free versions or flat face versions, to prevent dirt particles from entering a system, are used depending on the operating process.
Areas of application of the quick coupling in the energy supply
The couplings are used in places where a recurring disconnection or connection of a system is necessary. Be it for maintenance reasons or to ensure appropriate flexibility.
Quick coupling requirements
The couplings must be able to withstand the sometimes demanding thermal and chemical stresses. Be it with regard to the basic materials of stainless components or the sealing elements installed in them. In the qualities of FFKM, EPDM, NBR FPM etc.
Good handling, especially when decoupling, can be a decisive criterion to ensure comfortable handling on the machine with our specially developed push-pull version (i.e. decoupling by pushing or pulling the trigger ring).
